We’ve Refreshed the Alt View Studio Website
After more than eight years of filming in Japan, we thought the website deserved a proper refresh.
Alt View Studio has grown a lot since the early days. What started as a small production setup in Tokyo has become a Japan-wide content production studio, working across all 47 prefectures, through more cities, towns, islands, hotels, airports, mountain roads, event halls, temples, studios, restaurants, and conference rooms than we can neatly count.
The work has changed, too.
We have filmed documentaries, tourism campaigns, corporate interviews, brand videos, social media content, event recaps, hotel films, product shoots, drone sequences, behind-the-scenes features, YouTube projects, photo shoots, and plenty of jobs that do not fit cleanly into one category.
That is part of why the new website exists.
We wanted a better way to show the range of what we do in Japan. Not just polished final videos, but the kind of production support that sits behind them: planning, shooting, editing, translating, navigating locations, handling cultural details, moving quickly when needed, and knowing when Japan needs a slower, more careful approach.
Built around real production work
The refreshed site is designed to be clearer, faster, and more useful for clients planning shoots in Japan.
You can now explore our services, portfolio work, drone filming information, company background, and location-focused production resources in one place. We are also building out more practical guides for overseas teams, brands, agencies, tourism boards, creators, and companies that need to film here but do not know where to start.
Some people come to us needing a camera operator for a single interview in Tokyo. Others need a full shoot planned across multiple prefectures. Some need drone work. Some need bilingual production support. Some need photography and video together. Some just need someone who can make sense of Japan before the shoot day arrives.
That is the space Alt View Studio sits in.
Eight years in Japan, and still finding new angles
Japan does not run out of stories easily.
One week might involve a corporate interview in Tokyo. The next might be a tourism shoot in Hokkaido, a brand film in Kyoto, an event in Osaka, a hotel shoot in Fukuoka, or a documentary scene somewhere you only reach after several trains, a car ride, and a bit of luck.
We have worked with happy clients from Japan and overseas, and we are grateful for every project that has trusted us to capture something properly.
The new website is a small milestone, but it also feels like a useful marker: eight years in, stronger than ever, and still very much moving.
